Following the incredible enthusiasm and creative output from our previous sessions, our participants requested an extra day dedicated to pot art for their home gardens. To honor their initiative and accommodate growing interest, we have expanded our schedule to open an additional session on Wednesday, August 12th. This session welcomes both returning participants eager to build on their skills and new members looking to join our welcoming community. Art as a Pathway to Independence and Wellbeing Creating hand-painted garden pots is more than just a creative pastime—it is a meaningful, therapeutic experience that supports holistic wellbeing: Building Practical Skills: Participants develop fine motor control, spatial awareness, and creative design techniques that foster self-reliance and confidence. Our indoor hub was the perfect place to kick off the day, grab a gift bag, and check out the high scores on the leaderboard Shepparton Easter Festival 2026 There is something truly profound about the way a community comes together to celebrate. On  March 7th, 2026 , Shepparton witnessed more than just an event; it witnessed the kind of magic that happens when barriers are removed and joy is given center stage. Sponsored with immense pride by  Uconnex Community Services , this year’s Easter Festival was a day where miracles of connection, laughter, and personal milestones happened every hour. The journey began long before the first guest arrived. Our dedicated team spent the entire day prior on-site, meticulously preparing every booth and setting up the vibrant displays to ensure every "protection" and safety detail was perfect. By the time  10:00 AM  rolled around on festival morning, the gates opened to a community ready for a day of wonder. A Vibrant Welcome: The First Spark of Joy The morning began with a warm welcome that felt like a hug for the soul. The entrance was a swirl of activity as guests were greeted with  face painting  and whimsical  balloon art . Seeing a face light up as it’s transformed into a masterpiece is a small miracle in itself. This "warming up" period allowed everyone to find their rhythm, filling the air with high energy and anticipation from the very first hour. Community members gather under the UCONNEX Community Services banner, enjoying a sunny day at the Easter Festival. The event is filled with inclusive activities, offering a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Families enjoy a sunny day outdoors during the Community Day Easter Festival, surrounded by activities like games, face painting, and a magic show, hosted by Uconnect Community Services. Safety first! Our dedicated Support Safeguard team was on hand at the main gate to validate tickets and ensure a secure, protected environment for everyone entering the festival. Our community hub was a hive of inclusive activity, featuring everything from the Egg-Eye Challenge to cozy connection spaces It’s all in the details! Our team was positioned right at the entrance to provide a helping hand, ensuring every guest could navigate the festival with ease and confidence from the moment they arrived. Community in every frame! This gathering was the heart of our mission—bringing people together in an inclusive space where laughter and connection are the main attractions.  10 Challenges, 1000 Milestones The heart of our festival was the game zone. We wanted to ensure that every participant, regardless of ability, could experience the thrill of competition. We were proud to organize  10 distinct skill games , each designed to turn a simple play into a "dream award" moment: "Easter Festival Fun: Compete in Bunny Blast and Bunny Flower Leap for exciting prizes and score high as the Gold Grand Champion with strategic strikes and perfect landings!" 1 . Bunny Blast:  The ultimate strike challenge on the bowling lanes. 2 . Bunny Flower Leap:  A precision landing challenge to help the bunny find its flower. -------------- These banners for the Easter Festival showcase two exciting challenges: "The Golf Egg Hop Put-Put" and "Crazy Egg-Drop Chaos." Participants can win up to 100 points by landing golf balls or balloons in designated target zones. With categories like "Egg-in-One" and "Bulls-Egg," players are invited to test their skills and win prizes. 3 . The Golf Egg Hop Put-Put:  A classic turf challenge to sink an egg-in-one. 4 . Crazy Egg-Drop Chaos:  A game of luck and timing with unpredictable balloon drops. -------------- Join the Easter Festival Fun with Exciting Games: Test your skills in "Hoppy Ring Toss" and "Bunny's Blue Can Bash" for a chance to win grand prizes. The Target Finder:  An accuracy challenge that brought out everyone’s inner pro. -------------- A cheerful moment at the UCONNEX Community Services event, featuring a dart game and prizes. The miracle of friendship! Beyond the games and the magic, the most memorable milestones were the connections made between community members. A handshake, a gift bag, and a shared smile perfectly capture the spirit of our day in Shepparton. High stakes and high fives! The "Bunny Blast" bowling station was a hub of excitement, proving that with the right setup and a bit of determination, everyone can hit a strike Rewards for the heart! After participating in our festival challenges, seeing the pride and happiness on a participant’s face as they receive their "dream award" is what makes the day truly miraculous. Memories to take home! Every guest left the festival with more than just a gift bag; they took home the joy of a day well-spent. Alongside the high-energy games, we witnessed the miracle of  animal connection . In our petting zoo, participants shared quiet, gentle moments stroking a pony’s mane or cuddling a puppy. These moments of "sharing thoughts with animals" provided a beautiful, calming balance to the excitement of the games. Pure connection. One of the most miraculous moments of the day was seeing our guests bond with the gentle animals from Billabong Ranch The magic of a gentle touch! One of the most heartwarming miracles of the day was the interaction between our guests and the animals. Unconditional joy! The petting zoo brought so many "miracle" moments to Shepparton, but few things compare to the pure happiness of holding a furry friend.  Taking a moment to enjoy the view! Whether it was the thrill of the games or the quiet miracle of watching the animals, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Wonder through the eyes of a child! The petting zoo was a major hit for our youngest guests, offering a miraculous opportunity to get up close with farm friends. The miracle of a cuddle! This beautiful moment perfectly captures the essence of our festival—pure, unbridled joy. The Grand Finale: Magic, Laughter, and Feasting As the afternoon rolled in, the main hall became a sanctuary of wonder for our  Magic Show . The room erupted in laughter as clowns performed hilarious skits and the magician turned the "impossible" into reality. Future pro in the making! The Golf Egg Hop Put-Put was a test of patience and precision. Caught in the moment! The magic show wasn't just about the tricks; it was about the infectious laughter that perfectly captured the "miracle" of shared happiness. Total concentration! One of the many miracles of the day was seeing the determination on our participants' faces.  This giant panda isn't just a prize; it’s a symbol of the skill, determination, and "miracle" milestones reached throughout our wonderful day A champion in the house! There was no shortage of winners at the festival, and seeing this participant celebrate his achievement with a brand-new plush friend was a joy for everyone involved Smiles all round! A highlight for many was the chance to grab a selfie with our very own Uconnex mascot Time for a treat! After the excitement of the "Bunny Blast" and the 10 game challenges, our guests enjoyed a well-deserved break. From buttery popcorn and red snow cones to refreshing soft drinks and sandwiches, fueling up was part of the festive fun that kept the smiles going all day long. Spontaneous miracles! Our face painting station wasn't just for the kids—it was a place where anyone could transform into their favorite hero It’s the little things that mean the most! While some aimed for the giant pandas, many of our guests found their "miracle" in these humble, fun-filled gifts Making new friends! The festival was full of "funny acts" and spontaneous laughter. It’s these lighthearted interactions that turned a community event into a truly miraculous experience. One more try for the win! The "Hoppy Ring Toss" was the ultimate test of target skills.  To fuel the fun, everyone sat down together to enjoy a classic festival feast. The smiles were as plentiful as the food: Classic Hot Dogs & Sizzling Sausages Freshly Prepared Sandwiches Buckets of Warm, Buttery Popcorn Up close and personal! The magic show was a standout milestone, offering interactive moments that left us all wondering, "How did he do that?"  Captivating the crowd! There was something addictively curious about the magic show that drew everyone in. The more, the merrier! "Coming together is a beginning, working together is success,"  inspiring our team to move forward and take care of the community! Bonds Forged!  A spontaneous moment of unity during the Gala Night proves that the Uconnex team leaves Bali with stronger connections and an unbreakable spirit. After two incredibly successful and challenging days—from rescuing baby turtles on Day 1 to conquering the Balinese kitchen on Day 2—it was time for the Uconnex team to trade in their aprons and trekking gear for their finest attire. The  Gala Night  was more than just a party; it was the beautiful culmination of our  Uconnex Team Building Bali Gala Night 2025 , designed to celebrate our achievements and strengthen the bonds forged in the Balinese sun. It was the perfect way to unwind and remind everyone that we are colleagues, but also a fantastic family. We heard honest, hilarious, and inspiring accounts of the cultural exploring missions and the high-heat Master Chef Challenge. We reflected on  how hard and how fun  the events were, celebrating the teams who were crowned champions of those days. Ultimately, the biggest takeaway was that  no matter who became champions, we all won,  because we tried our best to complete the challenge with support from every member of the team. This activity reinforced our unity and provided unforgettable memories. Thank you for this experience; we absolutely need more and more of this!
