Unleashing Creativity and Connection: A Glimpse into Uconnex Day Programs!

At Uconnex, we believe in fostering vibrant communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, connect, and express themselves. Our weekly Tuesday Day Programs (also known as Day Options) are specially designed for individuals participating in the NDIS program, offering a supportive and engaging environment for people from diverse backgrounds to come together.


This past Tuesday, our participants embraced their inner artists with a delightful animal and statue painting session! As you can see from the photos, it was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to dive into the world of colours and creativity.

A Canvas for Connection and Creativity


The air was filled with laughter and concentration as brushes danced across the white ceramic figures. From bold black and white designs to vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples, each animal statue came to life with its own unique personality. It’s amazing how colours can truly express our inner world, isn't it?

Beyond the Brushstroke: Building Skills and Community


More than just a painting class, these sessions are a wonderful chance for participants to gather, sit side-by-side, and share their hobbies and thoughts. It's about more than just practical skills in art; it's about improving communication, building friendships, and creating a space where stories can be shared and support can be found.

We believe that through activities like painting these charming animal figures, individuals can share their own journeys, their challenges, and receive positive energy from a community that genuinely cares. Everyone deserves to experience well-being and progress, and our Day Programs are crafted to nurture just that.

More than just statue painting! Our Uconnex Day Programs also encourage participants to explore canvas painting, creating beautiful landscapes and abstract art.
