As an IT Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering robust and efficient software solutions that enhance overall user experience and business operations. You will join a successful, established team responsible for Designing, Analysing, Building, and maintaining various applications and systems. Position Description

• Solution Design & Analysis: Design and analyze facilities management dashboards and data stories, translating business needs into intuitive visualizations. Define optimal architecture for applications and web components, ensuring modularity and performance.

• Database Design and Management: Lead database architecture discussions, design and analyze databases based on project requirements. Update and develop data management flows, integrating and optimizing databases on Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL.

• Programming and Development: Develop high-quality, secure, and performant mobile applications (React Native) and web applications (HTML, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, Java's libraries, React JS, Next.JS). Implement secure coding practices.

• Performance Optimization & Scalability: Optimize application performance, focusing on speed, responsiveness, and scalability for growing data and user loads.

• Comprehensive Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues and errors within systems, providing feedback and troubleshooting bottlenecks.

• Rigorous Testing & Quality Assurance: Design and execute comprehensive test cases, meticulously documenting and reporting all test situations to ensure software quality.

• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code across various platforms, adhering to coding standards and best practices.

• Branding & Consistency: Ensure branding consistency and a cohesive user interface within application designs.

• Client Engagement & Adaptability: Actively manage and respond to evolving client requirements, adapting solutions and embracing new platforms proactively.

• Innovation & Research: Research, design, develop, test, and document IoT integration and analytics into building management systems. Explore and propose new technologies to boost development efficiency.

• System Diagnosis & Optimization: Diagnose, test, and optimize application programming languages, ensuring connected protocols and standardizing modifications via documentation for flexibility.

• Cybersecurity Vigilance: Proactively update and report on system cybersecurity monthly, ensuring safety and confidentiality through development tools and practices.

• Defect Management & Availability: Identify and report technical defects in systems, processes, and methods to ensure continuous project availability and reliability.

• Collaborative Teamwork: Work seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders (IT Design, programming, data analysis, executive teams) to assist with data-related technical issues and support robust data structures. Contribute as a key member of the IT development department.

  
  

Required experience in the Profile.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Demonstrable experience with MS Azure and other Microsoft platforms.

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, including React JS and React Native.

• Experience with API JSON and other integration approaches.

• Fluent in MySQL or SQL Server, with strong capabilities in manipulating data and executing complex database queries.

• Proven ability to work effectively and contribute positively in highly collaborative team environments.

• Excellent written report and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in Real Estate Application structures, Hospital management application structures.

• Experience in data visualisation / dashboard design

• Experience within NDIS (National Disability Insurance Schema)

• Experience in IoT.
